WEDDINGSOPTION A - £1000![]() Includes a full days coverage, and we do mean a full day. We start with the bridal preparations and don't leave until we have captured the reception in full swing. If you have anything special with regards to the exit of the Bride and Groom we will wait till you have left before we pack up and go home. The first 100 images that you choose are included in the price, with extra prints available from £7.50 each. The images are captured digitally in RAW format, allowing you complete control over colour or black and white options. Your final image selection will come in a presentation box. Also included in this option is a DVD presentation of all your chosen images. This is a great way to show off your images to family and friends, it is professionally produced and set to your choice of music. We will also upload your images to an online, password protected gallery, allowing guests from further afield to view your images. Linked to this gallery is a print ordering system, making it easy for friends and family to order prints. The price includes both pre and post wedding consultations to discuss your specific needs. OPTION B - £1300This option includes everything from option A, but also includes a custom designed Photobook. We will put together a bespoke photobook album of your day, a unique and highly contemporary way to present your images. Our photobooks are sourced from one of the most highly respected photobook manufacturers in the photographic industry, Booked Images. Please go to our links page for more information on these beautifully crafted products. OPTION C - £1500This option again includes everything from option A, what differentiates it from option B is that instead of a photobook, your images are displayed in a beautiful, classic Jorgensen Album. We use their top of the range pro bound albums, that in our opinion are the best albums in the world. For more information on the Jorgensen product range, please click on our links page. OUR ADVICE![]() -When you meet your photographer for the first time, ask yourself, "can I build a relationship with this person, do I like them?". This may sound silly but if there is no relationship between you and your photographer it will show in the photos. -Spend some time thinking about the style of photography you would like. A good photographer will listen to you and tailor their approach to your wedding accordingly. -Be sure to get a breakdown of all costs. Ask how many photos are included in the price and check the price of extra prints. You do not want to end up with 200 must have photos with only the first 50 paid for and each extra print costing £25! A good photographer will put everything in writing for you and advise you on the most cost effective package for you (without the hard sell!). -Be sure to be fair to your photographer with regards to how much time you allocate in your schedule on the day itself. A good photographer will not want to take you away from enjoying the day, whilst being acutely aware that the photos he/she takes will be the lasting impression of the day. It is a very delicate balance. Your photographer will thank you for helping them achieve this balance! PORTRAITSPRICES![]() We have so many different presentation options available to you that it would be impractical to include a full list here. Our prints range from £7.50 for a 6x4" and go up to £750 for a 60x40" Canvas Block. We can also produce albums and photobooks of your session, with prices starting at £250. We charge a session fee of £50 for a studio shoot, or £75 for a location shoot. This cost is fully refundable should you decide to spend over £450 on your final images. We also offer a cast iron money back guarantee in the unlikely event that you are less than 100% satisfied with your images. These prices include both the photo shoot, and an after shoot viewing session for you and your family. The viewing session is just that, a chance for you to see the images from the day, not a sales presentation. We will take a step back and let you enjoy the images. Once you have taken a look through the images, if you then decide you would like to purchase some prints we will advise you on your presentation options. Our policy is to let you decide which images you like and only then do we become involved in your decision making process. OUR ADVICE![]() -Spend some time talking with your photographer prior to the photo shoot itself. Not only will this give you a chance to explain your expectations for the day, but it will also allow you to develop a rapport with the photographer. It may only be small, but any relationship that can be built prior to the shoot will make you and the photographer feel more relaxed about the day. -Think about the final placing of your prints. Where in your house do you want the images displayed? Try to match your clothing colour choices with the decor. A good photographer will ask you questions about where you intend to display the images and think about this during the shot. -Allow yourself plenty of time on the day itself. A good photo shoot will involve a lot of relationship building and fact finding on the part of the photographer. At Oakes Photography we do not place a time limit on the shoot, we will only finish once we have enough images to fulfil your requirements. Not having time constraints will make you and your photographer feel a lot more relaxed, resulting in more natural images. |
